If you hold a current, verifiable tennis coaching credential — LTA Accredited, FFT Initiateur / Éducateur / DEJEPS / DESJEPS, FITP Istruttore or Maestro, RFET Técnico, SVTF Klubbtränarutbildning, PTR or RSPA — the Tennis Convert pathway is for you. It recognises what you already know and teaches what is genuinely new.
Output: a Rallova L1 Foundation Coach badge in your destination sport — identical to standalone L1, by the same assessment standard. This is not a lesser badge. It is a faster route.

RPL accelerates the learning, not the examination. The assessment bar is identical to standalone L1.
Kept in full
Everything sport-specific.
Rules, technical, tactical and the destination-sport assessment are kept in full. A tennis credential says nothing about whether a coach can teach a bandeja or a third-shot drop.
Same assessment
Identical standard.
60-question written, observed mock lesson, skills demonstration, three lesson plans, five reflective journal entries. Same axes, same pass marks.
Format
Twenty hours, hybrid.
Twelve hours self-paced online — the bridge unit, the rules and scoring of the destination sport, the technical and tactical fundamentals (with explicit ‘tennis-habit fault’ callouts at each stroke), and a session-template application.
Then a single eight-hour in-person intensive — assessor-led demonstrations, peer-coaching circuits, a session refinement and the full L1 assessment block.
Price (directional): £450 / $600. Below standalone L1 (£750 / $950) and accessible enough to be the standard on-ramp for the tennis-coach pool in every Rallova market.
